Flowserve to produce pumps for knowledge centre cooling

Working with AGI Industries, Flowserve Corp has secured a contract to provide 5,000 industrial course of pumps to TMGcore Inc, a Texas-based supplier of high-performance computing solutions and a specialist in liquid immersion cooling know-how.

Priceless will be used in patented immersion cooling items designed by TMGcore. The pumps will circulate dielectric fluids, which enable warmth dissipation and cooling of servers inside single-phase immersion cooled items.
Unlike traditional data centres, today’s applied sciences like artificial intelligence, deep learning, the Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud computing require a considerably greater amount of knowledge to be processed – increasing the need for elevated server capability. As stakeholders look to cut back energy consumption in knowledge centres, there is a growing demand for immersion cooling technology. Immersion cooling can deal with greater heat loads in high-density servers at a minimal value, and it’s also extra vitality efficient than conventional air cooling.
