Industrial Flow Solutions to acquire Italy’s Dreno Pompe

Industrial Flow Solutions is shopping for Dreno Pompe, a designer and producer of electrical submersible pumps for wastewater applications, based in Monselice in northeastern Italy.

A portfolio firm of personal equity firm May River Capital, Industrial Flow Solutions specialises in pumping and fluid management options for harsh, rugged environments. The firm, which is headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut, USA, is house to BJM Pumps merchandise, Stancor pumps and controls, OverWatch direct in-line pump systems and the Oil Minder pump and control solution, in addition to Scotland-based Clearwater Controls which it acquired last October.
Founded in 1990, Dreno Pompe designs and manufactures submersible pumps and mixers in addition to accessories required for set up. Dreno Pompe’s pumps are used in residential, municipal and industrial applications, together with building and shipbuilding. The company’s Compatta and GRIX product lines are for domestic and residential wastewater wants while the Kappa line is a collection of development pumps for abrasive supplies.
