Trillium to amass Termomeccanica Pompe

Trillium Flow Technologies is buying Termomeccanica Pompe SpA, the Italian engineered pump manufacturing company that serves the ability, desalination, water transmission and oil and gas markets.
The two firms have signed a joint agreement that can bring the Termomeccanica Pompe, Gabbioneta Pumps and Begemann brands together underneath the Trillium umbrella in Italy.
When the deal closes, La Spezia-based Termomeccanica will give attention to developing the ecological and fuel compression sectors, where its subsidiaries TME and TMIC operate.
Trillium, a portfolio firm of global non-public equity funding agency First Reserve, is the former Weir Flow Control enterprise.
